Congratulations Eli for your F30!!!

The Emili Lab is excited to share that Elias Wisdom MD/PhD candidate (PIs: Drs. Emili and Unni) has been awarded the NIH F30 Fellowship for his Project Titled: Deciphering the interactomes of ApoE and alpha-synuclein isoforms and their connections to neurodegenerative disease.

This award will fund the remaining MD-PhD training years for Eli, including crucial experiments for his PhD thesis on the protein-protein interactions that underlies neurodegenerative diseases.

Undoubtedly too, this award will be foundational to his future career as a physician-scientist where he aims to bring meaningful impact to patients suffering from age-related neurological diseases.

He is so grateful to his two PhD mentors, Vivek Unni and Andrew Emili, his tremendous lab mates, and the many other fantastic mentors who have shaped his training path and purpose.
